Outside of our main task of creating, supporting, and sustaining citizen diplomacy initiatives in eastern Iowa, we have expanded to start providing outbound exchange programs.

Travel to Panama
Travel to Panama with CLE Abroad!

Global Ties Iowa is partnering with CLE Abroad to organize a trip to Casco Viejo, the old town of Panama City, from October 11-15, 2026. Your itinerary can be extended to the small mountain town of Boquete from October 15-18, 2026. Panama's cultural identity is diverse, shaped by Indigenous traditions, African heritage, and Spanish colonial influences, resulting in a rich blend of customs, music, and cuisine.
