Global Ties Iowa receives a small grant from the US Department of State to support citizen diplomacy initiatives in our community. However, the funds necessary to promote professional exchange programs in eastern Iowa comes from the generosity of our community.

About the Dave Tiffany Global Ties Iowa Memorial Endowment Fund
The David Tiffany Global Ties Iowa Memorial Endowment Fund was named after the late David Tiffany, who sadly passed away in January 2022. Described by many as having a calm and sweet demeanor, Dave’s involvement with Global Ties Iowa began in 2008 and continued the remainder of his life. He served as the Interim Executive Director from 2011 to 2012 and remained on the Board of Directors through 2021. A man with many talents and a massive heart, David Tiffany is one of those people who will truly be missed, not only by the Global Ties Iowa community, but by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
