Meet Grayson, our new social media and storytelling intern!

Grayson is from Warsaw, IN, and is a junior at the University of Iowa. Her majors include managerial marketing and leadership management, and she is also pursuing a certificate of international business. Outside of class, she is also the Vice President of her sorority, Chi Omega, where she spends a lot of her time supporting the chapter, volunteering at their philanthropic partner Make a Wish, and hanging out with her friends. She is also a member of Women in Business, Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, and Tippie Honors Society. Some of her favorite things include books, autumn weather, candles, Iowa football games, and the color pink!

Growing up, her dad always went on business trips around the world, and her family always tagged along. The first time she traveled abroad was when she was 10 years old, and her family traveled to Italy and Greece. This was the first time she was exposed to an international environment, which sparked her passion for traveling and international cultures. Since that trip, she has traveled to over 15 different countries, 2 of which were on her own with study/work abroad programs. After these experiences, she continued to realize the importance of experiencing different cultures and seeing the world, which is how she grew so passionate about Global Ties and the mission that it serves.

We are so happy that Grayson is on board this semester as our new social media and storytelling intern!
